Die Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP)-Transceiver-Familie von Advantech ist mit verschiedenen Kupfer-SFP- und Glasfaser-SFPs, SFP+ und XFP erhältlich. Dieses Transceiver-Modul ist kompatibel mit dem Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). Dank ihrer Hot-Plug-Funktion sind sie vielseitig einsetzbar und weit verbreitet.
Die SFPs von Advantech bieten robuste industrielle Leistung mit erweitertem Betriebstemperaturbereich. Durch Echtzeitüberwachung liefert die DDM-Funktion (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring) dem Anwender wichtige Informationen wie Empfangsleistung, Sendeleistung, Laser-Bias-Strom, Eingangsspannung und Temperatur im Netzwerk. Dieser Ansatz ermöglicht eine bessere Fehlerisolierung und -erkennung.
