Rather than designing and planning a new edge deployment, the Vertiv SmartRow™ 2 is an all-in-one solution designed for Edge computing by global leaders in data center infrastructure. This solution includes 5 IT rack enclosures with true hot and cold aisle containment for high efficiency cooling. Coupled with multiple temperature sensors in each rack, the in-row cooling unit prevents hot spots and modulates capacity, which reduces wear and tear and extends service life. The electrical distribution panel includes input circuit breaker protection, enables fast installation, and has dual power output to provide internal power redundancy, and protects the system from power surges and spikes. Two online double-conversion UPS (N+1) isolates the PDUs in each rack and critical IT equipment from power anomalies and outages. An external maintenance bypass is pre-integrated to allow for service without interrupting power to any connected equipment.
